Processes & plant technology.
Different product categories place different demands on manufacturing processes and plant technology. The manufacturing infrastructure comprises specialised processes for tobacco, cannabis, botanical and functional products. Modular manufacturing lines enable both development and pilot batches as well as the economical production of industrial series.

Technology & plant.
Heimat's production infrastructure is based on proprietary process technology and specialised equipment. It was developed to manufacture plant-based smoking products reproducibly, efficiently and scalably under industrial conditions. Standardised production processes form the basis for consistent product quality from pilot production through to industrial series manufacturing.

From manual craft to industrial series.

Industrial manufacturing of cannabis and herbal pre-rolls
Industrial manufacturing of tobacco-free pre-rolls posed technical challenges for the industry for many years. Heimat developed its own manufacturing process, now patent-protected across Europe. It enables continuous processing of plant-based raw materials into cigarette form, transforming a previously largely manual manufacturing process into industrial series production.

Precision in the manufacturing process
The process is based on precise dosing and homogeneous distribution of plant raw materials within the manufacturing process. This allows even demanding, resin-containing plant materials to be processed reliably without materially affecting production speed or process stability. At the same time, a consistent product composition is ensured across all production batches.

Industrial manufacturing capacity
The purpose-built production facility enables the manufacture of up to 3'000 pre-rolls per minute. Standardised processes and automated production procedures form the basis for high volumes, reproducible results and economical scaling of different product series.

Technology development
The continued development of processes and equipment is part of the long-term company strategy. New raw materials, regulatory requirements and future product generations can be continuously integrated into existing production processes. In-house development expertise forms the basis for the technological expansion of the production infrastructure.
