Heimat supports scientific research projects in the field of cannabinoid-based applications and provides standardised products for clinical research. The goal is to gain new scientific findings and translate them into industrial product development.
Independent research.
Heimat products have already been used in independent clinical studies conducted by the University Psychiatric Clinics Basel. The studies were independently planned, conducted and evaluated by the researchers. Heimat provided the study products and was not involved in study design, data evaluation or publication.
Scientifically published.
The studies were published in the international journal Frontiers in Psychiatry. Among other findings, the results indicate a possible reduced need for antipsychotic medication and higher subjective well-being with supplementary use of CBD cigarettes. Due to the small sample size, the authors explicitly recommend further clinical research.
Translating findings into products.
Scientific findings form the basis for the further development of standardised products, manufacturing processes and quality standards. Heimat combines research, regulatory requirements and industrial manufacturing into reproducible solutions for the healthcare market.
